At Candiani Denim, transparency is an important value. We believe it is necessary to communicate our products’ quality to both brands and consumers. Therefore, we have prepared some branding tools to help you understand if you are wearing a garment made with Candiani Denim’s fabric, following our quality and sustainability standards.


Candiani Denim’s branding tools certify quality, transparency, and traceability


Candiani Denim’s branding tools represent a seal of quality, transparency, and traceability of our fabrics and state our core values:

• Made in Italy because we have produced exclusively in Robecchetto con Induno, close to Milan, since 1938

• innovation, which makes us search for new solutions to improve our products every day

• sustainability, thanks to those standards we adopt to preserve the environment


Candiani Denim’s branding tools can be found inside your garments (labels), hanging from your belt loops (hangtags), or attached to your pockets (Golden rivet). They support consumers in their choice and make us recognizable as an ingredient brand of a quality piece of clothing.


Candiani Denim’s labels in Newlife™ yarn


Candiani Denim’s labels trace the origin of the fabric, the most important ingredient of a pair of jeans. They are made with Newlife™ yarn, completely obtained from plastic bottles gathered in the North of Italy. Our labels are produced with polyester, so they are not affected by washes, certified by STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and GRS (Global Recycled Standard), and 100% Made in Italy across their entire value chain.




Candiani Denim’s hangtags Why choose these jeans? and COREVA™


There are two main Candiani Denim hangtags: Why choose these jeans? and COREVA™. They are both made with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper, with no chlorine, and are wholly recyclable and biodegradable.


Candiani Denim’s hangtag Why choose these jeans? aims to justify a purchase based on the four pillars which inspire our daily operations:

• the family that has run the business for four generations

• the natural park between Milan and the Alps where Candiani Denim’s fabrics are manufactured

• the search for the best and most sustainable ingredients to use in the production process

• the employment of environmental-friendly technologies to save water and energy and replace harmful chemicals




The hangtag COREVA™ wants to underline the unicity and the value of our stretch denim, the first biodegradable and compostable worldwide, providing additional information on its technology through a QR code on its backside.




The Golden rivet launched by Candiani Denim for its 75th anniversary


The Golden rivet was launched by Candiani Denim in 2013, on its 75th anniversary. “We are a B2B company, and with this item, we talk directly to the consumer”, Simon Giuliani, Global Marketing Director di Candiani Denim, explained.


The Golden rivet is attached to the right pocket of premium jeans. It communicates to consumers the quality of the products they buy, made with a fabric entirely manufactured in Italy following severe quality and sustainability standards.
