Candiani Denim collaborated with Ravensbourne University London and Kingston University London as a sponsor in their denim projects. A total of 33 groups of highly talented students took part in the two projects and created beautiful denim outfits using the fabrics of some of the most renowned denim mills and companies. We are honored we were among them.
Ravensbourne University London x Kingspins Show Denim Innovation Project
The Ravensbourne University London x Kingspins Show Denim Innovation Project 2021/2022 lasted 10 weeks, from September 2021 to February 2022, and involved the second-year students of the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion and the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Buying and Brand Management, divided into 15 groups. Their task was to realize a denim collection, from concept to finished garments and branding. The denim experts Mohsin Sajid and Sue Barrett mentored the project, and Candiani Denim participated as a sponsor.
The Denim Innovation Project ended with a judging event on February 11th, 2022, in which the groups involved showed their collection. Two groups used our fabrics to create their clothes, including one of the winners, Novanta.

Kingston University MA Fashion – Denim Project
The Kingston University MA Fashion – Denim Project 2022 lasted 12 weeks, from January to April 2022, and involved 75 students divided into 18 groups. Their task was to design and make denim outfits composed of pieces of clothing created by every group member. The denim tutors Mohsin Sajid and Sue Barrett and the course tutors Richard J. Sorger, Neil Adams, Maria Piene, and Marianne Tournay mentored the project. Candiani Denim participated as a sponsor.
The Kingston University MA Fashion – Denim Project 2022 ended with a judging event on April 7th, 2022, in which the students involved showed their collection. Four groups used our fabrics to manufacture their garments, including the winner of the Best Menswear category.
