The Candiani Denim Store is located at Piazza Mentana, 3 in Milan and consists of two distinct locations next to each other: Candiani Custom, where you can design made-to-measure and custom jeans, and the multi-brand Candiani Corner. As a long-established Italian denim producer, we mark our first venture into retail with this store. It initially served as a venue to showcase limited editions created exclusively for us by some of our longtime clients who use Candiani fabrics. Over the years, it has evolved into a hub for Italian denim culture.
A denim store with exclusive collaborations
Located in the historic Cinque Vie area, which dates back to the Roman Empire, our store is situated in Milan’s oldest neighborhood, renowned for its art galleries, craft shops, clothing outlets, and design stores.
Since our launch in 2019, we have become a hub for exclusive collaborations with several well-known denim brands that use our fabrics. Notable past collaborators include Atelier & Repairs, BENZAK, Bespoke, Blue of a Kind, Boyish Jeans, CLOSED, DENHAM THE JEANMAKER, DONDUP, Kings of Indigo, MATiAS, Progetto QUID, and Valstar.
As our store expanded, we broadened our supply to include denim garments from brands that use our fabrics. Additionally, we began offering products that help customers create the perfect denim outfit, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets, by partnering with companies that share our commitment to high quality and sustainability.
The Candiani Denim Store is home to Candiani Custom jeans
In 2021, we launched Candiani Custom, the first urban micro-factory dedicated to producing made-to-measure jeans. This operation combines industrial efficiency with a boutique experience, offering our customers a unique opportunity in one of the world’s fashion capitals, Milan. Here, they can design their own pair of jeans by selecting the fit, fabric, wash, and accessories. We prioritize sustainability in our manufacturing processes.
In 2025, we expanded our offerings to include customizable jeans, serving as a bridge between ready-to-wear and made-to-measure clothing. While these garments are pre-cut and sewn, customers can choose the length of their jeans and customize various features such as buttons, rivets, embroidery, and back patches. Additionally, denim jackets and jinbeis are now available for customization.
Our latest projects
In 2024, we introduced a barber corner in our store to provide clients with a more comprehensive experience. While waiting for your hem to be ready, you can also customize your hair and beard—just as you do with your jeans.
We also relocated our ready-to-wear selection next door to Candiani Corner, located at the intersection of Via San Sisto. This new multi-brand store was established by combining Alberto Candiani’s vision with Paolo Bertacchi’s art direction and Luca Piccinno’s interior design expertise. It features exclusive collaborations from Candiani, along with a carefully curated selection of apparel and accessories that reflect the distinctive style of La Ferramenta, Paolo’s concept store in Bologna.
