Our new Candiani Corner officially opened its doors at the beginning of December 2024. This unique multi-brand store is located at Piazza Mentana 3 in Milan, at the intersection of Via San Sisto. It was conceived from the vision of our president, Alberto Candiani, with art direction by Paolo Bertacchi, the founder of the Bolognese concept store La Ferramenta, and features the interior design style of Luca Piccinno.
About Candiani Corner
Candiani Corner was established to showcase exclusive collaborations from Candiani Denim, along with a carefully curated selection of apparel and accessories that reflect the distinctive style of La Ferramenta. The design incorporates concrete, steel, and glass, creating an industrial atmosphere. The large store windows facing Piazza Mentana connect the new space with the vitality and elegance characteristic of the Milanese neighborhood.
Candiani Corner is situated next to Candiani Custom, our micro-factory dedicated to producing made-to-measure jeans. This creates a hub focused on Italian denim culture and style in the heart of Milan, one of the world’s fashion capitals.

Coreva Design by Progetto Quid
The capsule collection Choose Life is a special highlight of the inauguration. It was created through a collaboration between Coreva Design and Progetto Quid, with art direction by Gabriela Giovanardi. She shared her thoughts on this partnership: “I met Progetto Quid ten years ago and was one of their first supporters as a testimonial. Their commitment and values immediately captivated me, as they align closely with my own. It’s inspiring to see how fashion, through conscious effort, can positively impact the planet and people’s lives. Both Progetto Quid and Coreva Design exemplify this. Combining these two complementary initiatives has been an honor and a great pleasure, as they demonstrate that making a meaningful difference is possible when there is a genuine desire to do so.”
Coreva Design exclusively uses fabrics made with its patented COREVA™ technology, the first in the world to create fully plastic-free and compostable stretch denim. This innovation allows the fabrics to return to nature at the end of their life cycle by decomposing into compost that enriches the soil and fosters the growth of new raw materials.
Progetto Quid emphasizes adding value to fabrics by utilizing leftover materials from Italian and international textile districts. Additionally, the organization provides educational and employment opportunities for vulnerable individuals, promoting a transformation that extends beyond the fashion realm.
The name of the capsule collection, Choose Life, encapsulates the shared values of Coreva Design and Progetto Quid. It is inspired by the campaign led by Katharine Hamnett in the 1980s. Her message, “Life is only to be found on this planet and is under threat. Save it,” emphasized the need to protect our natural and social ecosystems. This call to action is more important now than ever.
